We flew from Dulles to Boston to Rome, 8/1. On 8/2 Bob & Angela had a party for the English-speaking crowd. Next day we toured Firenze, then prepared for the Wedding on Saturday.

Francesca De Graaf & Jim Trousdale were married on Aug 6 in the church at the apex of Todi - Tempio di S. Fortunato. They travelled from NYC and many relatives from the US gathered for this elegant event. Afterwards we celebrated at the Relais Todini a few km outside of Todi.

David, Stuart, Brandon, Olivia & Nick spent three days in Rome visiting many attractions, including a search for the sites mentioned by Dan Brown in "Angels & Daemons". We stayed at the Hotel Regno on Via del Corso, halfway between the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps.

We drove south to Pompeii, climbed Mt Vesuvius and walked through the archeologic ruins of Pompeii. We stayed at the Hotel Forum - a wonderful hotel - highly recommended.
